Kerasia Beach, Corfu: Kerasia is one of the most picturesque and beautiful beaches of Corfu located 37 km away from the Corfu town. It combines the crystal clear waters, the idyllic lush green landscape and the stunning coves that make an ideal destination for the summer holidays. Despite its close proximity to the cosmopolitan settlement of Kassiopi, the beach keeps a rather low profile. The small pebbled beach that lies around the crystalline bay offers some loungers and umbrellas and a perfect view to the Albanian coasts. Kerasia is ideal for the nature lovers and those who want to spend some relaxing moments away from the noisy crowds.
Kerasia beach lays on the North East coast. It can be reached by car in a little over 40 minutes. However the only road into Kerasia is via Agios Stephanos and cannot be reached directly from the main road. Due to its position it is a regular stop for those hiring boats for the day as it is easily accessible from the sea. There is a long pebble beach, a taverna and bar. The beach and surrounding area is very peaceful and there are some lovely walks and scenery to discover. To the right of the beach as you face out to sea you will find the start of the Rothschild estate, you are able to walk along the costal path here through a beautiful wooded area and admire the wonderful walk around the headline.
