Kriopigi beach Halkidiki: A sandy beach near the seaside town of Kallithea and 56 km south of Poligiros, the capital of Halkidiki. It is very well-organized with sunbeds and umbrellas as well as taverns and cafes, receiving a great number of tourists. The scenery is also lovely, with the blue sea on the one side and lush greenery on the other. Kriopigi is close to other beautiful beaches, including Pigadakia, Polychrono and Kallithea and is only 7 km far from this village.
Beach has been awarded several times by international organisations for having the clearest waters (so-called blue flags). Kriopigi beach is entirely equipped with whatever you need to spend an enjoyful day on a beach. Water is very nice, crystal clear, and the beach is covered with soft, delicate sand.
There are nereby taverns and cafes where you can take a break from swimming and sunbathing, or rally strength to enjoy some water sports. Kriopigi beach has many little bays, perfect for all diving enthusiasts. The widest and most popular part of the beach is its south side.
