Paradisos beach Halkidiki: Paradisos (Paradise) beach is located 54 km south east of Poligiros close to Neos Marmaras, in the Sithonia peninsula, 126 km from Thessaloniki.

The beach is just a couple of kilometers from the beach resort of Neos Marmaras, which has a well developed tourist infrastructure with its numerous restaurants, beach bars, fish taverns, mini markets, banks and health center. Paradisos beach has been awarded the European Blue Flag and has a well-developed tourist infrastructure, with apartments and studios to suit a variety of budgets, just a few 100 m from its sandy shore. This is a true paradise with long stretches of golden sand, blue waters and low mounds draped in lush vegetation giving the place an exotic touch.

Halkidiki Paradisos Beach

Paradisos beach is the north beach of Neos Marmaras. It is a narrow beach that serves the local hotels and apartments that line the promenade. Here you can find several good restaurants and beach bars. The beach is well organized with sun beds and parasols.

The beach itself is a combination of sand and pebble, the southern part being more pebble and the northern part, sandy. The seabottom is also a mix, as you enter the water there is pebble and stone but then turns to sand. It is recommended that you have swimming shoes for entering the water. At times there can be waves, but also the beach is patrolled by lifeguards. Paradisos is a good pick for families.
