Myrodato Beach: Still developing tourism, this place is visited mostly by Bulgarians and Turks due to its proximity to the borders of both countries. Xanthi beaches is popular and originally natural, today Myrodato (Mirodatou or Mirodato) has many villas and summer residences.
The beach strip of Myrodato (also called Skala Avdira, as it is the largest beach of Avdira area) is long, wide and sandy. The sand glitters like gold in the sun, maybe due to the many seashells you will find there. The sea bottom is very shallow and suitable for small children. Porto Molo Beach

This does not seem to hinder the locals or visitors who populate it during the summer months. The reason is very simple… a natural gulf with crystal clear waters.
