Myrodato Beach

Myrodato Beach: Still developing tourism, this place is visited mostly by Bulgarians and Turks due to its proximity to the borders of both countries. Xanthi beaches is popular and originally natural, today Myrodato (Mirodatou or Mirodato) has many villas and summer residences.

The beach strip of Myrodato (also called Skala Avdira, as it is the largest beach of Avdira area) is long, wide and sandy. The sand glitters like gold in the sun, maybe due to the many seashells you will find there. The sea bottom is very shallow and suitable for small children. There are a couple of beach bars and taverns.

Porto Molo Beach

The beach is also known as one of the beaches of Avdira, considering its close location. It consists of three tiny sandy bays next to each other, about 1 km south of Mandra beach.

Porto Molo is famous for its homonymous beach bar which organizes part of the beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. The area is still developing tourism and there are almost no rooms to rent or they cannot be found on the internet.

Erasmio Beach

A sandy beach near the seaside town of Xanthi and 56 km east of Kavala. It is very well-organized with sunbeds and umbrellas, receiving a great number of tourists. The scenery is also lovely, with the blue sea on the one side and lush greenery on the other. Mangana is close to other beautiful beaches, including Porto Molo, and Myrodato is only 7 km far from town of Xanthi.

The area offers various options for accommodation and many taverns and canteens with snacks and cold drinks. Erasmio Beach has been awarded with the Blue Flag for the services provided to visitors, the great organization and the cleanness and quality of the waters. The natural surrounding is actually a pole of attraction for hundreds of people ever year. The beach is easily reachable by car.

Mangana Beach

Mangana Beach is a Beach in Xanthi in the Thrace Region of Greece. Mangana Beach Beach has also been awarded the Blue Flag, certifying its excellent waters. Locations near Mangana Beach include the Village of Mangana and the Settlement of Dafni.

Mandra Beach

An organised but not busy beach where there is a private camping. On the east side of the beach there are the lagoons of Lafri and Lafruda.

Porto Lagos Beach

It is a beach surrounded by green landscape, with crystal clear waters and natural peacefulness. The long beach, not particularly busy, is also the first organised beach in Xanthi. There are many fish tavernas in which you can eat seafood while enjoying the enchanting view.

Ai Giannis Beach

The Ai Giannis beach has been characterised as an archaeological district since 2009. Therefore any developmental construction at the beach or even putting up an umbrella is forbidden by law. This does not seem to hinder the locals or visitors who populate it during the summer months. The reason is very simple… a natural gulf with crystal clear waters.
